St. John's of the Cross Two Shows 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM 8086 Broadway Lemon Grove, Ca. 91945 The proceeds from the Fall Festival go to the SJOC Building Fund. We have already completed two school buildings, with a third planned but not started. (more classrooms are still needed) Currently we are working on revamping the Youth Center which is located in a building that is at least 60 years old. Our kids aren't safe in that building! At the fall festival you will find one covered stage with a variety of bands at night, and church choirs on Sunday morning. The music ranges from Rock n Roll, Blues, Country, and a Beatles Tribute Band. There will be Folklorico dancers Sat & Sun afternoon. There are some excellent food booths; American, Italian, Mexican, and Filipino mainly. A Beer Garden and a Margarita Bar. Beers are only $4. There's a white elephant sale, a silent auction, and a regular auction. There are rides and games and some craft-type booths. Saturday night starts winding down with fireworks at 9pm.
